RAY DOUSTDAR
Mr. Doustdar was most recently President of his previous firm, The Stronghold Group. During his tenure at Stronghold, he spearheaded the company’s efforts in business development for clients such as hip-hop superstar Nelly, The Dave Matthews Band, Sugar Ray, the Motown Music Label, Pop Warner Little League, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The company experienced impressive growth and grew to a 2MM agency within two years. Prior to that, he served two years as the Executive Director of Licensing for Universal Studios, where he launched very successful and profitable licensing programs for such feature films as Dr. Seuss’s The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, The Mummy Returns, and Jurassic Park 3, as well as building overall licensing programs for classic character properties like Woody Woodpecker, Curious George, and the Universal Studios Monster Franchise.
Mr. Doustdar was also appointed head of the new Sports Division. He signed NFL Superstar Deion Sanders, NBA Player Wally Szczerbiak, and the Supercross/Motocross Honda Racing Team for licensing and merchandising. Prior to Universal Studios, Mr. Doustdar was the Director of Special Markets for BMG Entertainment. At BMG, he created custom music CD compilations for clients such as Starbucks, Pottery Barn, and Ann Taylor. Before his tenure at BMG, Mr. Doustdar spent five years at consumer products giant Procter & Gamble, where he managed the Tide brand and a 24 person sales team in the California Market. He was also a founding member of the cutting edge Customer Business Development Team that worked inside Kmart Headquarters on the Laundry & Cleaning Products business, the largest business unit for P&G at Kmart.
Mr. Doustdar is a consummate dealmaker, with experience in executing product licensing, new business development, endorsements, sponsorships, and promotional programs. Mr. Doustdar is well experienced in dealing with brands, ad agencies, promotional companies, PR agencies, and talent.
Mr. Doustdar received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Miami University of Ohio.
RICH OROSCO
Prior to B360 Studios, Mr. Orosco was the Vice President of Marketing for Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. He managed the trade and consumer marketing operations for Warner Bros. Television shows including TMZ (the #1 entertainment news website and the #1 first-run syndicated TV show launch of 2007), The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Tyra Banks Show, Extra, and Two and a Half Men (the #1 off-network sitcom launch of 2007). Prior to joining Warner Bros., he was the Executive Director of Advertising and Promotion for CBS Paramount Domestic Television where he was responsible for brand management and marketing of the #1 entertainment news magazine, Entertainment Tonight, and the most successful first-run syndicated TV show launch of 2004, The Insider.
Mr. Orosco is a two-time recipient of the “Share-The-Vision” award which recognized employees who made a significant and measurable contribution to the CBS Corporation. Early in his career he worked in brand management for Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment on successful franchises such as Star Trek, Mission Impossible, and Nickelodeon’s Rugrats.
Mr. Orosco is a seasoned entertainment executive who has conceptualized and executed award-winning product launch campaigns for top entertainment properties. He has a strong background and proven success in strategic marketing partnerships, business development, promotions, online marketing, and special events.
Mr. Orosco received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.
JAMES CHANTLER BROWN
Mr. Brown is a Marketing, New Media and Consumer Products Executive with 14 years of experience at Paramount Pictures, Vivendi Universal, and Media Cartel. Most recently he has been consulting for Google and YouTube in the Cross Media Platform Solutions division since February of 2008.
Before co-founding B360 Studios, Mr. Brown was the principal with Media Cartel, an interactive agency specializing in marketing and new technology. Clients included Universal Domestic Television where Mr. Brown lead the marketing campaigns and re-built the web presence for TV shows Blind Date, Crossing Over with John Edward, Jerry Springer and Maury Povich. Media Cartel also created the mobile marketing campaigns for the Jakks Pacific/Snoop Dogg pet products launch and the mobile auction site for Limbo/Verizon Wireless for the release of Pirates of the Caribbean, at Worlds End.
After attending Hunter College and the University of Maine, the Connecticut-born Brown moved to Los Angeles in 1983 to pursue a career in magic. Prior to his introduction to marketing and new media, Brown enjoyed a tenure as a top touring comic magician, headlining comedy clubs, luxury ocean liners and lecturing to the trade throughout 37 countries. He also consulted for the FOX-TV series Arrested Development and co-wrote and produced the Academy of Magical Arts Awards for three seasons.
